Friday Morning Ladies

Sat Feb 26, 2005, 11:46 AM
I've got an assignment for a photography course and I just realised that I do have a subject! This is brilliant considering that I am so "apathetic" lately.
My mother has a hair salon in our basement. Every week I see women in various stages of beauty. I hear the gossip, I hear all the stories (and believe me, stories there are). So basically, I grew up in a hair salon (my bedroom is just down the hall), and I think I'll capture my mom's friday morning ladies. Every Friday she has a handful of old women that come in religiously to get their hair set. Lately they've become fewer... which is really sad. So maybe I'll use them.

I've got Spring Itch so bad right now. This weather has definately been good for the soul.

I dev-watched before I actually read your stuff; but after reading a couple, I'm glad I did it. Your poems are definitely worth multiple readings to me---and that's rare in my case. ;)

Thank you so much for the watch. I'm glad it wasn't an arbitrary "must do" thing.
